In this lecture, I will talk about our recent researches on submanifolds of the homogeneous nearly Kahler manifold. Our results are concentrated on the classification of the canonical Lagrangian submanifolds and the Hopf hypersurfaces, as well as hypersurfaces related to the shape operator and the almost contact structure.
